Make an inventory of large and fragile belongings. Note stairs, elevators, parking and loading distances at both locations. Keep important documents and personal essentials with you. Confirm building access and permitted moving hours with management.
Share room counts, approximate area, occupancy, pets and priority areas. Separate routine cleaning from requested appliance or cabinet interiors. Discuss fragile surfaces, allergies and product preferences before confirming the scope.
For an old-home clean, allow loading to finish first. For a new-home clean, finish before unloading begins. Plan separate access windows and buffers. Do not assume the same crew or a single appointment covers both services.
